Description
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Lindner Center of Hope seek an Outpatient Therapist to provide evidence-based mental health services to students and community clients. Responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy. The therapist will collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, faculty, and campus partners to coordinate care, support academic success, and promote wellness. Role includes documentation, outcome tracking, participation in case conferences, and contributing to training or outreach in a student-centered, research-driven environment.Provide outpatient individual, group, and family therapy to students and community clients
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
Develop and update evidence-based treatment plans aligned with client goals
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and outcome measures
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, faculty, and campus partners for coordinated care
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
Engage in outreach, psychoeducation, or training to support student wellness
Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of clinical practice
Contribute to a culturally responsive, inclusive care environment

Current independent or supervised clinical license (e.g., LISW, LSW, LPCC, LPC, LMFT) in Ohio or license-eligible
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field
Training in evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care)
Experience in outpatient or college counseling/behavioral health settings
Competence in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning
Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to equity and inclusion
Strong clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
Eligibility to work in a university-affiliated medical environment
