Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur organization is looking for a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Epileptologist to join the Division of Pediatric Neurology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Currently, our division comprises 11 Pediatric Neurologists, including 2 pediatric epileptologists, operating within our NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center. We serve one of the largest geographical areas in California and are part of one of the most prominent children's hospitals in the nation.
Our team specializes in video EEG monitoring, conducting epilepsy surgical evaluations, and managing outpatient clinics, which include a multidisciplinary complex epilepsy clinic. We also handle outpatient EEG interpretations, general pediatric consultations, and engage in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. Our group features 1 adult epilepsy neurosurgeon and 2 pediatric epilepsy neurosurgeons, alongside 6 adult epileptologists, 1 neuroradiologist, 2 pediatric neuropsychologists, a pediatric neurology nurse practitioner, and a ketogenic dietitian. We offer surgical, neuromodulatory, and dietary services tailored for children.

Compensation & Benefits
The starting base salary for this position ranges from $242,000 to $265,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not encompass variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
