Central Vermont Medical Center, a proud member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a dedicated Echocardiographer to join our team. This role involves conducting echocardiograms to evaluate different aspects of the heart, such as chamber size, valve functions, and blood flow, assisting in the delivery of exceptional care to our community. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in diagnostic procedures and an empathetic approach to patient care.
Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular tests to assess heart health.
Assist physicians in diagnosing cardiac conditions based on echocardiogram results.
Maintain accurate patient records and test results for clinical use.
Schedule and manage patient appointments for cardiovascular diagnostic procedures.
Ensure all echocardiography equipment is operating correctly and maintained per the industry standards.
Proficiency in using echocardiography imaging equipment
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology
Ability to interpret echocardiographic data
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety
Active certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
