The University of South Alabama (USA) Health System invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Interventional Radiology. Rank and academic appointment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding academic IR program serving the Gulf Coast region.
The USA Health Interventional Radiology division provides a comprehensive range of procedures, including interventional oncology, advanced vascular interventions, hepatobiliary procedures, and image-guided therapies. The program supports a diverse academic and regional referral population across three hospitals and multiple outpatient centers in coastal Alabama.
The successful candidate will:
- Participate in the full spectrum of IR clinical services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Contribute to the teaching mission of the USA College of Medicine through resident and medical student education.
- Engage in clinical research and scholarly activity within an established academic health system.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in oncology, surgery, hepatology, and other specialties.

Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree with Board Certification (or eligibility) in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama.
- Authorized User (AU) status for Y-90 and related nuclear medicine procedures (or eligibility to obtain).
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and education.
